At the first glance the mountains were beautiful. A fresh layer of snow, like a white blanket covered the ground. It was like a pure white sea with mountains towering up above. The sky was bathed in scarlet and amber by sunlight scattered as the sun set. The moon was already climbing up wards into the sky,a pale glow around it. The winter was almost over, but the conditions were still harsh and snow still fell. It would be a number of sun sets before the inhabits of the mountains could move to the higher altitude areas. A band of gray cloud with a touch of pink dotted the sky, light snow falling from them.Yet only it's look were admirable but to live here, you lead a grim and difficult life.
An icy wind cut against the mountains barely reached past the leopard's woolly warm undercoat. Light smoky gray paws traveled through the snow, leaving fresh paw prints in the snow. His coat was much lighter during the winter looking as if mist covered him. The fur was perfect for hunting and camouflage in the mountains. As fit as he seemed for leaving in the mountains, they have left their mark in Dartak. His fur hung over a bony figure, his coat dirty and tangled. His mind wasn't clear,a fuzzy feelings what keep returning to it making Dartak feel dizzy and unsure of things. Dartak's usual ice blue eyes were tinted red and clouded after countless days of no sleep. His nights of hunts unsuccessful.
As he breathed out his breath was visible in the air. With a sigh dropped his hindquarters to the ground, breathing in the crisp air. He waved his head from left to right, searching for the slightest scent of prey. Ugh,if only New leaf could come sooner. How many moons until New leaf anyways? The Frozen rain season never last this long, did it? And I always found prey before this long, did they migrate somewhere? It's not possible that they moved up already is it? His thoughts and questions scattered across his mind jumping from one topic to another,Dartak wasn't thinking straight. His nights were becoming more and more tougher -- perhaps even numbered. Mostly anyone could see he wasn't in his prime condition.
Forcing all the energy he had,you stood up and shock the brand new snow off. His eyes scanned the ground hoping to find some sign, proof of prey. Nothing. With another sigh he turned around heading back to his shelter. He dragged his paws across the snow, eyes closed but other senses alert. A scent reached his nose other than the rocks and snow,if you considered them to even have a scent. He changed his direction and stared the other way. Sniff. Another step ahead. The scent was clearer, stronger. But it wasn't prey.He continued to move forward but more cautiously. Sniff. His paws stopped moving as if they were frozen to the ground. Dartak new the scent now. A bloodcurdling growl arose in his chest. It was another feline -- on his territory. He was weak and exhausted but he wouldn't let another cat steal the pitiful amount of prey on his territory. He needed it dearly. No,he would stand and fight.

Hm, well, heres mine. Dunno if it'll be good @___@
There was a lovely green meadow with beautiful flowers of different colors spread out across it. It seemed peaceful and carefree as butterflys and other insects jumped from flower to flower, bug to bug. But there seemed to be a bright blue butterfly that stuck out, most of all. It fluttered and landed on a flower as innocently as they naturally are, sipping from the nector of the flower.
As the butterfly drank the sweet nector of the flower, there seemed to be a little gray paw, hoovering over it, before smacking down. Just missing the butterfly, it fluttered off with the others to get away from the danger. A young lioness cub, jumped out from behind the little meadow hill at the butterfly with a playful mew. The cub's tail wagged around franticly as she chased the blue butterfly, giving it playful paws in attempt to catch it. The cub was a gray color, with white spots on her body, a couple on her forhead and several around her forarms as well as her lower legs and sides. She continued to wag her tail as she played with the butterfly somemore, more details being able to show as she played, such as her white underbelly and her dark gray ears.
The cub seemed to be alone, which isnt a good sign for a cub, but she seemed to be just fine so far as she played with the insects. The blue butterfly flew up high where the cub just couldnt seem to reach it. The cub jumped and pawed at it before finally giving up and started chasing a cricket nearby.
