NOTE: During all the seasons it is very cold. It just ranges from different levels of cold.
Spring The weather is beginning to get a little warmer. Animals that had migrated away from the mountains are now making their way back. Food is beginning to become more plentiful and some may begin to climb to higher areas of the mountains to keep in the cooler temperatures. There is also a significant decrease in snow fall.
Summer The summer months are fairly warm, causing many to seek higher regions of the mountains.
Fall The weather is beginning to get colder in all regions of the mountain. During this time, animals begin to migrate to lower portions. Herbivores begin to leave in hopes of finding more food. Some snowfall may begin during the later months of the fall.
Winter During the winter months, the mountains become very cold and frigid. The lower altitude areas are not as cold as the higher altitude areas. Food becomes sparse for both plant and meat eaters. Animals tend to stay on the lower regions during this time. Snow fall occurs frequently as well.
